Ithael had always strongly distrusted him. His own experience with people proclaiming themselves to be wizards had often ended in the so called wizard trying to steal one of the jewels the Prince wore as part of his royal vestments. The fact this wizard was a seemingly long time friend of his father held no weight with Ithael. He seemed in a hurry. He pushed passed Ithael and Wilim and darted toward some stairs at the far end of the hall, with no acknowledgement he had just pushed aside a royal without so much as an 'excuse me'. Behind him, a doctor appeared in the doorway. These doctors now gathered in the King's room were assembled from many places all over the Kingdom over the past year in a seemingly vain effort to cure the King's illness. Ithael had thought many of their cures did more harm than help on more than one occasion.
