I've put together a tutorial and a list of cheats that you can use with the Deus Ex demo. But I must warn you, don't use the cheats until you've finished it legimitely. If you do, it'll spoil the fun you can have with this great game. With that said... let's continue. First of all, DO NOT USE THESE CHEATS UNTIL YOU HAVE BEATEN THE DEMO! I already said that, but it needed saying again. Don't use these to get past a part you can't beat cause it's not worth it. Use this after you've beaten the demo in every way possible and you just wanna have some extra fun. Here they are:
Step 1. Open up the file "user.ini" (minus the quotes) in your DeusExDemo\System folder. Use notepad to edit it.
Step 2. Choose a unbinded key you want to use. (I'll use equals for this example.)
Step 3. Search (Edit --> Search or F3) for "Equals=" (minus the quotes) and add talk after the = sign. It should look like this: Equals=talk
Step 4. Repeat step 3, because Equals= is in there again, farther down.
Step 5. Close notepad and save the changes!
Step 6. Launch the Deus Ex demo. After you start a new game, hit the equals key (or whatever you binded talk to) and a command line should pop up at the bottom of the screen that says the word Say in it.
Step 7. Backspace over Say and type in: "set DeusEx.JCDentonMale bCheatsEnabled True" (minus the quotes) and hit enter (this must be repeated after saving and loading). Now you're ready to go! To enter a cheat, just hit equals again, erase Say, type in the cheat and press enter. Here are the cheats:
God (or God 1) - God mod
Invisible (or Invisible 1) - Invisible mode
Fly - Lets you fly around
Ghost - No clipping
Walk - Clipping (turns off Ghost)
allskillpoints - Gives you enough skill points to max out all skills.
allskills - Puts all your skills to the maximum.
allweapons - Drops a big pile of all the weapons in the demo.
allammo - Gives you the maximum amount of ammo for all ammo-types.
allhealth - Restores your health to the maximum for all body parts.
allaugs - Gives you the maximum of all augmentations.
allenergy - Restores your augmentation energy level to full.
allcredits - Gives you 10,000 credits.
iamwarren - Turns on EMP field so robots and machine gun turrets cannot attack you.
spawnmass xxx - Spawns a mass of "actors". xxx is where you put the actors name (as in cop, terrorist, cat, etc.).
summon xxx - Summons an item. xxx is where you put the name of the item. Here are some important items to summon, although there are lots more... you'll have to find them for yourself :)

WeaponModSilencer - Silencer
WeaponModAccuracy - Accuracy Mod
WeaponModRecoil - Lower recoil
WeaponModClip - increase clip size

WeaponModReload - Decrease reload times
